“Resources In These Times” presents the work contributed to Justseeds poster portfolio project Resourced that paired individual printmakers (many who are members of the Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative who coordinated the effort) with grassroots activist organizations working around environmental justice issues.

Featured artists include: Amor y Resistencia, Santiago Armengod, Armsrock, Kevin Caplicki, Tom Civil, Alejandra Delfin, Design Action Collective, Molly Fair, Thea Gahr, Gaia, Jesse Goldstein, Nicolas Lampert, Josh MacPhee, Juan Martinez, Colin Matthes, Keisuke Narita, Roger Peet, Jesse Purcell, Favianna Rodriguez, Erik Ruin, Shaun Slifer, Chris Stain, Meredith Stern, Mary Tremonte, Pete Yahnke, Bec Young.

Additional posters by Nicolas Lampert, Roger Peet, Thea Gahr, Mike Q. Roth, Santiago Armengod,  Pete Yahnke, Erik Ruin, Alec Icky Dunn, Josh MacPhee, Meredith Stern, Mary Tremonte, Ally Reeves,  Bec Young,  Anonymous,  Chris Stain and Swoon will be exhibited and available for sale.

“Operation Exposure” is collaboration between Justseeds and the Iraq Veterans Against the War which will result in a number of posters addressing GI resistance to war through the years. Art IN THESE TIMES presents a permanent mural of these posters produced by Justseeds and local IVAW members on November 15th, 2009. This mural will be on view in our entrance hall.

Art IN THESE TIMES is an occasional exhibition venue hosted by In These Times magazine ( in their offices on the 2nd floor of 2040 N. Milwaukee Ave* in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. The exhibitions are organized by office tenants of the magazine and residents of the neighborhood. The current exhibition will be on view by appointment through June 2011.

*This space is not wheelchair accessible.
